By downloading, installing, or using Medi Reminder ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and the developer of Medi Reminder ("Selfora", "we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully before using the App.

Your use of the App also constitutes acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Description of Service

Medi Reminder is a comprehensive personal health management application designed to help you organize and track your health-related activities. The App provides the following features:

Medicine Reminders: Create flexible reminder schedules (daily, weekly, custom intervals) with push notifications to help you take medicines on time
Prescription Management: Store detailed doctor visit records with diagnosis, vitals, notes, and file attachments (photos, PDFs, links)
Purchase & Stock Tracking: Log medicine purchases with price, quantity, and pharmacy details. Monitor stock levels with low-stock and out-of-stock alerts
Health Goals & Streaks: Set personalized health goals, track daily progress, build streaks, and monitor your overall health score
Health Tips & Wellness: Access curated health tips organized by category, mark tips as completed, and build healthier habits
Health Blog: Read integrated health and wellness articles with the latest research and advice
Profile & Cloud Sync: Manage your health profile with a comprehensive dashboard and keep your data synced across devices with secure cloud backup

The App is designed as a personal health management and organizational tool. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or medical advice service. See Section 5 (Medical Disclaimer) for important details.

3. User Accounts

To access the full features of the App, you may need to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to the following:

You may create an account using Google Authentication or other sign-in methods provided by the App
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated
You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that appear to be compromised or used in violation of these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — personal health management — and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not:

Use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the App's functionality, servers, or infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful files as attachments
Use the App to store information other than personal health records
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to interact with the App
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity

Violation of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Medi Reminder is a health management and organizational tool designed to help you stay organized and build healthy habits. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The App does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice of any kind
Medicine reminders are scheduling aids only — they should not replace professional medical guidance from your doctor or pharmacist
Health tips, blog content, and wellness articles are for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as medical advice
Health scores, streaks, and goal tracking are motivational tools and do not reflect a medical assessment of your health
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or treatment plan
In case of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services (e.g., 112 in India, 911 in the USA) immediately
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment because of information provided by the App

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that the App is not a medical tool and that you will not hold us responsible for any health-related decisions made based on information from the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App are owned by the developer (Selfora):

The App, including its design, user interface, source code, content, features, logos, graphics, and branding, is the exclusive property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the App or any of its components
The "Medi Reminder" name, logo, and related branding elements are trademarks of the developer
All health tips, blog articles, and wellness content provided within the App are copyrighted material

7. User Content

The App allows you to create, store, and manage personal health data. Regarding your content:

You retain full ownership of all personal data and content you enter into the App, including medicine records, prescriptions, purchase logs, goals, and attachments
By enabling cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the App's cloud sync and backup functionality, as described in our Privacy Policy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information you enter into the App
You agree not to upload any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or that violates the rights of any third party
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not access it except as necessary to provide the App's services or as required by law

8. Availability & Updates

We are committed to providing a reliable service, but the following conditions apply:

We strive to keep the App available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service
The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control
We may release updates from time to time that add new features, improve existing functionality, fix bugs, or remove features that are no longer supported
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes introduced by the update
We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version for the best experience and security
We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable advance notice to users

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory
We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
We are not responsible for missed medicine reminders due to device settings, battery optimization, notifications being disabled, network issues, or other technical factors outside our control
We are not liable for any health outcomes, adverse effects, or medical consequences resulting from your use of the App
We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, uninstallation without backup, or other user actions
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is free)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer (Selfora) and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of or inability to use the App
Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
Your violation of any rights of a third party
Any content you upload to or transmit through the App

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App's settings
We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms
We may terminate your access with reasonable notice for any other reason, including discontinuation of the App
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will continue to apply
Data deletion upon account termination follows our Privacy Policy

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App:

You agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings
Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of India

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for the resolution of any disputes.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Selfora regarding the use of the App. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications (whether written or oral) regarding the subject matter herein.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
For significant changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification or via email
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

If you disagree with the revised Terms, please discontinue use of the App and delete your account.
